At Nomad Bouldering, our workshops are designed to give climbers of all levels the tools to grow stronger, smarter, and more confident on the wall. From mastering technique and movement fundamentals to learning advanced skills for comp-style boulders, each session is run by experienced instructors who know how to break things down and keep it fun.

Whether you’re brand new and building a solid foundation, or an experienced climber chasing performance gains, our workshops are an accessible way to learn, progress, and connect with others in the community. With a balance of structured coaching, practical drills, and supportive vibes, you’ll leave each workshop with new skills, fresh motivation, and a better understanding of your climbing.

For climbers who want a more tailored approach, we also offer private coaching (1:1) and small group sessions (2–4 people). These sessions provide personalised feedback and structured support, whether you prefer the focused pace of one-on-one or the shared energy of climbing with friends.

With almost two decades of elite climbing experience across six continents, Mattias has intimate knowledge of the requirements of climbing, the toll it can take on your body.In 2020 Mattias founded Climber Care - a hybrid physiotherapy and specialist coaching service focused on delivering high quality care to climbers and helping them to continue to do what they love.

CHRIS CONFORTI


Chris has over eight years of climbing experience and brings a movement-focused approach to coaching climbers from beginner through advanced levels at Nomad. He runs our Beginner Bouldering Course, guiding new climbers in building confidence, technique, and connection to the sport. Drawing on his background in outdoor workshops and competition testing, Chris offers insight into movement, sequencing, and problem-solving under pressure.

His coaching is tailored to the individual, helping climbers address weaknesses, refine advanced movement skills, and develop a mindful approach on the wall. From private sessions to small groups, Chris emphasises safety, awareness, and adaptability, leaving athletes not only with stronger skills but a deeper connection to their climbing journey.

For non-members attending casual coaching entry fee is a reduced $20.
